Nourro AI
Everything below can be done from this page or from inside the app. Nothing here needs you to compose an email and wait — the forms go straight to us, and anything that touches your own data you can do yourself, immediately, in Settings.
Safety first
Nourro is not a medical device and its allergen information is not a guarantee. Always read the physical packaging before you eat something, every time. If you think you are having an allergic reaction, stop and seek emergency medical help.
Ingredient data comes from public databases, manufacturers, AI estimation and what you type in. Recipes change without notice. Cross-contamination is invisible to any database.
Report wrong food data
If a food in Nourro shows the wrong allergen, halal, kosher or vegan information, this is the single most useful thing you can send us. Corrections are applied to the data the app ships, so fixing one food fixes it for everyone.
Subscriptions
How do I cancel? On your iPhone, open Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Nourro AI → Cancel Subscription. Nourro cannot cancel it for you — Apple controls subscriptions, not us.
Deleting the app does not cancel your subscription. You have to cancel through the App Store, or it keeps renewing.
I paid but I'm still on the free tier. Open Nourro → Settings → Restore Purchases. If that does not work, make sure you are signed in to the same Apple ID that made the purchase, then send us a message below.
I want a refund. Refunds are handled by Apple and we cannot issue them. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
What happens to my data if I stop paying? Nothing is deleted. Paid features become unavailable, your diary stays exactly where it is, and everything is there again if you resubscribe.
Your data
Each of these is something you do yourself, in the app, without asking anyone and without waiting for a reply.
- Delete everything. Settings → Account → Delete Account. This removes your account and all its data immediately and irreversibly.
- Take your data with you. Settings → Export Diary produces a file you own.
- Change what we hold. Every field in your profile, your dietary requirements and your goals is editable in Settings.
- Withdraw a permission. iOS Settings → Nourro turns off camera, photos, location, notifications and Health individually.
Where does my diary live? On your device. It only reaches a server if you create an account, and it syncs so a new phone can pick up where the old one left off.
If you no longer have the app installed and need a copy of your data or its deletion, use the form at the bottom of this page and choose that topic.
See the Privacy Policy, and if you are in Washington, Nevada or Connecticut, the Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy.
Food and scanning
A barcode isn't found. Product databases are incomplete, especially outside the US and UK. Tap Add this product manually on the not-found screen — the barcode is carried across, so the next time you scan that packet Nourro finds your own entry instantly.
The nutrition for a food looks wrong. Bulk foods come from USDA FoodData Central and are per 100 g of the raw ingredient, which often differs from a branded product's label. Branded products come from Open Food Facts and are contributed by the public. Tap Edit to correct the serving, or add it as a custom food.
Search finds nothing. Nourro searches your own foods, recipes and its built-in database before the network, so it works offline. If only branded products are missing, you are probably offline — the screen says so rather than claiming there are no results.
The AI misidentified my meal. Tap the result to edit it before adding. A photograph is an estimate, and the app labels it as one. Better light, a straight-down angle, and one dish per photo all help.
Why does a food say "allergens unknown"? Because nobody has reviewed it. Nourro distinguishes checked and clear from not checked, and will not pretend the second is the first. Only reviewed foods are ever recommended to you.
Notifications, Health and permissions
Reminders aren't arriving. iOS Settings → Nourro → Notifications → allow. Also check Focus modes and that Scheduled Summary is not holding them.
Medication reminders are a convenience feature. Do not let them be your only means of remembering a dose.
Apple Health isn't syncing. iOS Settings → Health → Data Access & Devices → Nourro, and turn on the categories you want. Nourro reads sleep, heart rate, HRV, steps and weight; it never writes without asking.
The camera or photo picker won't open. iOS Settings → Nourro → Camera / Photos.
Message us
For anything else — a bug, a billing problem, a data request, a security issue, or an appeal against a decision we made about a request.
Tell us what you expected to happen and what happened instead. A screenshot helps more than anything else.
If you would rather write directly, contact@nourro.org reaches the same place.
